Motherhood can be a beautiful chapter. It can also be simultaneously exhilarating and overwhelming, rewarding and overwhelming, fulfilling and isolating —it can be all the things, at the same time.

Nourish is the group for you!
At Nourish, we recognize the unique challenges faced by new moms and those navigating early motherhood. This six-week, semi-structured therapy group is exclusively for new moms or those in the early stages of motherhood.
Sessions are process-oriented and skill-based, meaning we integrate evidence-based therapeutic techniques with mindfulness practices, self-care strategies, and lifestyle modifications. Through guided discussions, skill-building exercises, and a supportive community, participants embark on a journey of self-discovery, while nurturing their well-being in mind, body, and spirit.

A therapeutic collaboration between CSB Wellness & TASC Psychology
This innovative group was originally developed by licensed therapist, Claire Schulz Bergman at CSB Wellness and grew into a collaboration between Claire and Dr. Grusecki at TASC Psychology. Through our collaboration, history as colleagues and clinicians (and friends), it is with much excitement to again offer this transformative therapy group to the Madison area!
Expertise You Can Trust. Claire Schulz Bergman is an Licensed Clinical Social Worker, expert therapist, and seasoned health coach at CSB Wellness. Dr. Katelyn (Katy) Grusecki is a licensed psychologist at TASC Psychology. Together, they bring decades of experience in evidence-based interventions and a passion for helping empowering women to thrive in mind, body, and spirit. Through Nourish, they provide a confidential and non-judgmental environment facilitated with care and compassion to ensure a supportive and respectful atmosphere for healing and growth.
Holistic Approach to Wellness. Nourish takes a holistic approach to wellness. This specialized group, is tailored to you and carefully crafted to address the diverse needs and experiences of participants. The balance of exploration, reflection, and practical tools to help you navigate the joys and challenges of motherhood with confidence and resilience.
We recognize motherhood as one of the most vulnerable phases of life. Through Nourish, we offer a supportive space where taking care of you doesn’t mean “me first” but “me too,” and where self-care is love in action.

This group is for mothers, with children in the newborn to pre-school age, roughly 0 to 5 years old.
In-person groups will be in English and co-facilitated by Claire Schulz Bergman and Katelyn Grusecki.

The Nourish group is open to new moms and anyone navigating the early stages of motherhood with infants to children in childhood. We selected this age range, as the group will focus on the specific experiences and needs of mothers navigating this age range and phase of motherhood.

There are so many benefits to group therapy! In general, group therapy offers a dynamic and enriching therapeutic experience that fosters connection, learning, growth, and support. Group therapy is highly valuable as a stand alone treatment or in addition to other treatments (e.g., individual therapy, couples counseling, medication, etc.) or ways you support your mental health.

Weekly, in-person sessions are 75-minutes long. This is a semi-structured group that is both process-oriented and skill-based. Led by experienced therapists, sessions include guided discussions, reflective exercises, evidence-based techniques an mindfulness practices to address common issues faced by new moms, such as stress management, self-care, and relationship dynamics.

Absolutely. The Nourish group provides a safe and supportive environment for women experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety. Our facilitators are trained to address these concerns and provide guidance and support to help you navigate this challenging time.

TASC Psychology and CSB Wellness are not affiliated with insurance panels to ensure you maintain full control of your care and records. Therefore, the group is considered out-of-network and is not covered by insurance.
Participants can seek reimbursement from their insurance by contacting your provider to inquire about coverage for group therapy sessions.
We provide invoices following each payment and can provide superbills upon request. We also partner with Mentaya to assist individuals seeking reimbursement.
Please note neither Dr. Grusecki or Claire communicate with insurance providers on your behalf.
